Who was Rashard Anderson

In 2000, Morris was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 21st round. The Carolina Panthers selected Anderson with the number 23 overall pick.

The Forrest, Mississippi native spent two seasons with the Panthers and participated in 27 NFL games, starting nine of them. The 205-pound defensive back, who is 6 feet 2 inches tall, produced 65 tackles and one interception.

Anderson was released by the Panthers after serving a one-year suspension for violating the league’s substance usage policy.

Later, in 2005, he spent a brief time as a member of the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League.

After retiring from playing, Anderson held a number of jobs, including that of substitute teacher and assistant football coach at Jackson’s Callaway and Murrah high schools.
